Random Moment of Beauty: Napping with Cat

Ah.... what I would be doing if I wasn't a grown-up. As today has been one hectic day, I thought that in rebellion I would post this old picture of baby Joan in her bassinet on her lambskin with Earendil the Siamese Cat. Enjoy the day!

I didn't! It was a Christmas gift to myself from Magic Cabin Dolls. (www.magiccabindolls.com) I just fell in love with it. Sadly, I don't think they sell this particular one any more, which is too bad because it's lovely.
What a precious photograph! So sweet.

You mean other people do that too? I just bought the fairy clock as a birthday present for myself. My birthday isn't until June, so it's hidden away for now. I keep sneaking peaks at it, though!

Regina, I happened upon your blog via Amy's Open Book. I am happy to share that what inspires you also inspires me...you just seem to actually put into action what I only think about: an away room (Not So Big House is great!); hideous plastics; wooden toys; etc. Those are just a few. I knew about your books and ordered some for my parish library. I'll be reading your blog every now and then. Thanks.

The baby is adorable but I'm especially drawn to the sweetness of the cat coexisting with baby Joan. So beautiful!
